Beloved and honored by the Inuit of Northern Canada who relied on polar bears for food, clothing and tools, polar bear medicine calls you to honor your Great Spirit as your support and sustenance.
Purple fractals and the Sri Yantra behind him evoke the higher frequencies of pure mind ... the heart of creation.
Polar bear's white fur reflects the full spectrum of light inviting you to experience your own light … to remember your original purity by taking you back to the first Light of creation. This remembering transforms the world that appears on brink of extinction … polar bear warns of the consequences of turning away from your inner light.
Many believe the unicorn is a symbol of purity, innocence and Christ Consciousness. The unicorn was said to be impossible to catch unless in the lap of a virgin, representing Mother Mary and the birthing of the Christ on this planet, only to be hunted down and killed. The horn of the unicorn represents the pineal gland and unity consciousness. It was said to purify water -representing life- and be an antidote to all poison. The spirit of the unicorn is deeply entwined with the movement of consciousness in our time that is pushing up and revealing the deep poison that has plagued humanity since the beginning. Seeing the wound is the beginning of healing and returning to innocence and reverence for life.
In my image the gold and purple of the background represents the Christ Consciousness, with the Celtic spirals symbolizing the feminine mysteries of the Holy Virgin and the infinite power of life to renew and regenerate into higher frequencies of light.
The vision of the white lions came to me after waking up from a dream where I was running in a desert landscape with my two cats. As we were running and playing together, they transformed in to white lions. It was a magnificent moment!
Lions have always represented strength, nobility, courage and leadership. The white lion connects us to a higher leadership in the spiritual planes. Legend has it that about 400 years ago, an ailing African queen was being prayed for by her people. A brilliant star like light landed with a strange humming noise close to where they were in the area known as Timbavaati. They approached the light and a the queen went to greet the being that appeared from it. She disappeared and the light shot up in to the sky.
Ever since, only in that region, white lions have been born and are revered by the local tribesmen. In my vision, Isis is the keeper of the white lion spirit.
Butterfly reflects our transformation in to the astounding beauty and lightness of our Divine nature!
We have walked the Earth in limited consciousness, aware mostly of a need to survive, as the caterpillar apparently lives only for food ... Until the day it is compelled to do something completely different and wrap itself in a cocoon.
Inside this cocoon all formerly perceived reality dissolves in to a black 'goo' of no-thingness. Here you will confront your fear, despair, grief, anger and might believe you are going insane in the moments before all remnants of the old 'caterpillar' self dissolve.
And then ... by grace, the imaginal cells magically appear. Imaginal magic! These cells literally 'imagine' out of the zero point of nature's Divine wisdom, the extraordinary beauty of 'Butterfly' and innocence of an infant child.
Our call to awaken our inner imaginal cells and imagine our 're-membering' of our Divine essence of beauty, innocence, lightness and freedom to thrive among the flowers of our Creator's garden.
White Buffalo Calf Woman came to the Lakota tribes at a time of famine and spiritual darkness about 2000 years ago bringing the sacred pipe bundle and seven sacred ceremonies. She was the embodiment of the Divine Feminine. There were two hunters that first saw her. One fell to the ground in awe at the sacred vision. The other lusted after her and was turned to dust. She prophesied her return at this time of the shift of ages.
In the sacred story of the Lakota, White Buffalo Calf Woman's last words were, 'Remember: this pipe is very sacred. Respect it and it will take you to the end of the road. The four ages of creation are in me. I will come to see you in every generation cycle. I shall come back to you..'
The sacred woman then took leave of the people, saying: "Toksha ake wacinyanktin ktelo -- I shall see you again."
In my vision the White Buffalo Calf is now fully grown representing our spiritual maturity and the time for fulfillment of prophecy - the return of wisdom and purity of the Divine Feminine.
Originally created in honor of the Standing Rock Tribe’s fight for their living water.
The spirit of Avalon and the Celts bursts out of the frame in the form of a magnificent white horse, carrying mystery, magic and beauty. The spirals originate from ancient stone carvings dedicated to the feminine mysteries.
The Celtic culture was steeped in reverence for their horses as shown by the statues and amulets to their goddess Epona. A mystic and shamanic culture, the Celts viewed all life as intertwined and connected at the source, as illustrated by their knot-work designs from which the horse leaps.
Horse as power animal teaches us the profound lesson of being true to Self, no matter the 'bridle' and to live presently and attentively with gratitude toward those with whom we share our lives.
Hummingbird brings joy, wonder and sweetness to your world. Seeking red flowers, symbolic of love and passion for life, hummingbird will dip in to your heart and extract the nectar of joy and wonder.
Hummmingbird is the only bird that can fly backwards, and have the stamina to be able to fly 2500 miles or more without rest, baffling our scientists and showing us the miracles that are possible when joy and sweetness touch our lives.
Appearing to fight, no one ever gets hurt and it is all in play. So, when hummingbird flies in to your heart and reminds you that life is a play even when it is hard ... relax, smile and remember the sweetness and magic that live in your heart.
Horse calls us to step in to our power, freedom and service. Revered by all cultures, the spirit of truth, beauty, freedom, adventure and collaboration lives through Horse medicine.
In my vision the 13th century Labyrinth symbol from Chartres Cathedral connects to the center of the warrior's shield. A complex code of numerology, the labyrinth alludes to the journey in to our heart of hearts and the spiritual awakening that lies there. The journey requires the courage of a Spiritual Warrior.
For thousands of years Horse has had a unique connection and collaboration with humans. Horse carried us on his back to distant lands, sacrificed his life in battles and pulled our plows.
To the native Americans the horse was a friend and ally in the defense of their lands. They called horses 'God Dogs' which shows the level of reverence and respect they had for the horse. Shamans were often illustrated on the back of a flying horse so they could safely reach the Spirit realms, revealing horse medicine as a potent bridge between human and Divine and the ability to overcome difficult situations.
Owl calls you to 'see in the dark' and nurture your inner vision. To see in the dark is to walk in faith and move in to the uncharted territory of your subconscious and trust your intuition
Just as Owl swoops down on her prey with precision and swiftness, we are called to search out those aspects of ourselves, rooted in the depths of our subconscious mind that sabotage life and serve lies.
Owl reflects silent wisdom, hinting at ancient secrets waiting to be revealed by the light of the moon. Golden yellow eyes are symbolic of the sun, which is always present even in the deepest darkest night of the soul.
The winged Egyptian goddess Isis, seen in the background, was the 'queen of heaven' in ancient Egypt. Her priestesses were skilled healers and midwives, rumored to have magical powers.
Wolf speaks of guardianship, loyalty and the spirit of the wild. Wolf is the true spirit of the wilderness and keeps all things in balance.
The dog star Sirius was known to be the home of the original teachers of humanity in ancient times. Wolf represents Sirius in the Great Star Nation as has been told through generations of Native peoples. The ancient Egyptians too thought of Sirius as the home of the Gods and the Dogan tribe of Africa still consider Sirius to be the place of their ancient origin
Wolf is the pathfinder and bringer of new ideas, with keen senses and the moon as her ally, she taps the depths of secret knowledge and collective wisdom held in our DNA since our origins.
Humans have yet to learn how to live together in a harmonious way that honors the uniqueness and freedom of each of us to choose our path. Wolves understand and embody harmony and self discipline and they are the true spirit of freedom.
Wolves are now very close to extinction, mirroring peoples loss of connection to each other, with their greater selves and the natural world. They are howling to us, 'Time to wake up!'
Not a fish, but a mammal that mysteriously came to live in the Ocean, dolphins have mastered the art of breath, our link to feeling and higher consciousness. This alone gives them a magical quality.
In my vision, Saraswati, Hindu goddess of music and sound plays her joyful song with the dolphins swimming around her. Water carries memory and amplifies sound across great distances. We also spend the first nine months of our existence in water. Breath and sound are connected in the Logos of creation … 'In the beginning was the word/sound'.
When we swim with a Dolphin our heart memory is activated, bringing a deep sense of joy and play.
Is this the deepest memory we all share that has been long buried in a world ruled by the mind and a rigid duality?
